Geopark Events
1、2004年1月19日，王屋山国家地质公园以第一名的成绩通过国土资源部组织的第三批国家地质公园评审，获得"国家地质公园"称号。
On January 19th,2004, Wangwushan National Geopark was approved as a member of the 3rd batch of national geopark by Ministry of Land and Resources .
2、2005年6月30日，王屋山国家地质公园正式揭碑开园。
On June 30th,2005, Wangwushan National Geopark opened to the public .
3、2006年8月16日，联合国教科文组织专家一行到济源考察世界地质公园建设情况；9月18日，中国王屋山﹣黛眉山世界地质公园通过联合国教科文组织专家评审，成为世界地质公园网络成员。
On August 16th,2006, experts from the UNESCO went to Jiyuan to investigate the geopark construction . On September 18th, Wangwushan - Daimeishan Global Geopark passed the expert evaluation and became a member of GGN .
4、2007年6月2日﹣3日，王屋山﹣黛眉山世界地质公园揭碑开园仪式暨世界地质公园建设与管理研讨会顺利举行。
From June 2nd to 3rd,2007, the opening ceremony of Wangwushan - Daimeishan Global Geopark and the seminar on the construction and management of Global Geopark were successfully held .
5、2009年5月，王屋山﹣黛眉山世界地质公园被国土资源部命名为首批国土资源科普基地。
In May ,2009, Wangwushan - Daimeishan Global Geopark was named as the first batch of science education base of land and resources .
6、2010年7月13日﹣16日，联合国教科文组织盖伊·马提尼博士、亚布拉罕·库莫教授、马兹林默克塔、努赞尼阿兹曼专家到中国王屋山﹣黛眉山世界地质公园进行中评估考察。
From July 13th to 16th,2010, Doctor Norzaini Azman , professor Ibrahim Bin K Komoo , Mazlin Mokhtar and Norzaini Azman came to Wangwushan - Daimeis - han Global Geopark and processed the revalidation .
7、2012年6月22日，济源市政府在市国土资源局举行了王屋山﹣黛眉山世界地质公园管理局揭牌仪式。
On June 22nd,2012, Jiyuan government held the launch ceremony of the Ad - ministration of Wangwushan - Daimeishan Global Geopark in Jiyuan Bureau of Land and Resources .
8、2012年6月22日﹣24日，联合国教科文组织有关考察专家对王屋山﹣黛眉山世界地质公园进行再评估检查，并于2012年9月20日顺利通过审核，继续获得世界地质公园网络成员资格。
From June 22nd to 24th,2012, UNESCO experts conducted the revalidation to Wangwushan - Daimeishan Global Geopark , and Wangwushan - Daimeishan Global Geopark could keep the membership of GGN after the checking work on September 20th,2012.
9、2013年10月26日，王屋山﹣黛眉山世界地质公园荣获全国首届"中国最美地质公园"。
On October 26th,2013, Wangwushan - Daimeishan Global Geopark won an award of the first national " the most beautiful geoparks of China ".
10、2014年11月16日，中国地质大学教授田明中到王屋山﹣黛眉山世界地质公园进行考察，并建议将国土局原行政审批大厅用于建设地质科普活动中心。
On November 16th,2014, Tian Mingzhong , professor of China University of Geo - sciences , went to Wangwushan - Daimeishan Global Geopark and suggested the geopark use the former government review and approval hall as the geoscience education center .
11、2015年4月22日，在济源市文化城举办中国世界地质公园10周年巡礼。
On April 22nd,2015, a pilgrimage for the 10th anniversary of Geoparks in China was held in Cultural City of Jiyuan .
12、2015年5月10日，王屋山﹣黛眉山世界地质公园荣获全国地质公园科普工作先进集体奖一等奖。
On May 10th,2015, Wangwushan - Daimeishan Global Geopark won the first prize of national geopark advanced collective on geoscience education work .
13、2015年7月9日，王屋山﹣黛眉山世界地质公园管理局邀请河南省相关地质专家提升改造科普线路。
On July 9th,2015, the Administration of Wangwushan - Daimeishan Global Geopark invited the geologists of Henan Province to improve the science educa - tion geotrails .
14、2015年10月16日，王屋山﹣黛眉山世界地质公园管理局王静静荣获全国首届全国国土资源科普基地讲解大赛决赛二等奖。
On October 16th,2015, Wang Jingjing , the staff of the Administration of Wang - wushan - Daimeishan Global Geopark won the second prize on the interpretation competition of the first national land and resources science education base .
15、2015年12月31日﹣2016年1月2日，王屋山﹣黛眉山世界地质公园与中国地质大学（武汉）合作向全国招募25名地质公园科普志愿者，在公园、相关高校定期开展科普宣传活动，全面推广本公园地质遗迹，普及地质科普知识。
From December 31st,2015 to January 2nd,2016, Wangwushan - Daimeishan Global Geopark , cooperated with China University of Geosciences ( Wuhan ), re - cruited 25 volunteers on geopark science education , termly proceeded the science education activities in the geoparks , related colleges and universities , to promote the geopark heritages and spread the geoscience knowledge .
16、2016年1月21日，王屋山﹣黛眉山世界地质公园管理局与河南理工大学资源环境学院共建教学和科研实践基地，合作协议签署暨揭牌仪式在王屋山科普教育基地举行。
On January 21st,2016, signing ceremony and open ceremony on co - construction of teaching , research and practice base was held by Wangwushan - Daimeishan Global Geopark and Institute of Resources and Environment , Henan Polytechnic University .
17、2016年3月﹣4月，启动了地质公园科普教育活动中心建设和地质公园科普线路提升改造。

23、2017年9月，公园被国土资源部、科技部命名为"国家国土资源科普基地" 。

27、2018年4月，公园与省地质博物馆、云台山世界地质公园联合开展第一届河南省国土资源科普基地联合巡展；邀请业内专家进行科普讲座，组织中小学生参加恐龙化石修复现场教学、模型装架等活动。
In April 2018, the first joint tour of Henan Provincial Land and Resources Science Popularization Base was jointly carried out with the Provincial Geological Museum and Yuntaishan Global Geopark .
